Strengthen Door Frame
A Kickstop Frame Reinforcer is used to reinforce and strengthen a wooden door frame around a rim lock staple, a mortice lock striking plate and the hinges.
Fitting locks involves removing wood and this in turn, will weaken the frame. The Kickstop door frame reinforcing plates and bars are bolted together through the door or screwed to the internal face of the frame - to resist a 'kick-in' attack and forced entry and so help avoid a burglary.
Part of the FrameGuard/StapleGuard is fitted to the external face of the door and will provide a very visible indication that the door frame has been strengthened and reinforced. The benefit is that this visual deterrent will help persuade the intruder to 'go elsewhere'
